Biography Mr. Hoyt Q. Lockee Retired Paint Contractor Evans, Ga. Hoyt Q. Lockee entered into rest peacefully on May 19, 2013 at his residence. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10 until 11 am at Riverview United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall at 1244 Fury's Ferry Road. Funeral services will be conducted immediately following at Riverview United Methodist Church with Pastor Mark T. Maund officiating.Interment will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens, Grovetown, Ga.Pallbearers will be his longtime friends from Two State Construction. Mr. Lockee, was born in Burnt Springs, North Carolina and has resided in Evans, Georgia for approximately 60 years. He was a retired painting contractor and a member of Riverview United Methodist Church. He was a Past Master of the Martinez lodge 710 and the York Rite. He also served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He taught Sunday school at Evans Baptist Church for many years. He is survived by his wife, Linda C. Lockee, his only child, James Tony Lockee and his beloved daughter-in-law of 45 years, Brenda Mills Lockee, two granddaughters, Tara Gordon (Kenny) and Dina Smith (Neal) along with six great-grandchildren, his wife's family Jeff, Jo and Ashley Rupert, his beloved friend and companion, Harvey Tiedeman, and his wife Patricia. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 32 years, Lucille Jones Lockee. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to the Riverview Building Fund or the Martinez Masonic Lodge 710.
