Biography Mr. Henry L. Carmack Martinez, Ga. entered into rest Tuesday February 26, 2013. Mr. Henry L. Carmack was born on December 8, 1942 and was a life-long resident of Augusta, Ga.He was the son of Lena Lamb Carmack from Andrews, SC, and Henry L. Carmack, Sr. from Tallassee, Alabama. Henry is survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends too numerous to count. Henry had a special affection for his niece Deborah Cooper and her husband Wayne, and was grateful for their generosity and the time he lived with them. Henry was retired from University Hospital and was a member ofChurch of the Most Holy Trinity. He loved good conversation, good food, books, and laughter. He was blessed with a sharp wit and mind and had compassion and love for friends and strangers alike. Henry strove to wear this world as a loose garment and to walk in the sunlight of the Spirit. Henry leaves us with one of his favorite quotes: Whoever brought me here, will have to take me home. Rumi A Memorial Mass will be held at Church of the Most Holy Trinity, 720 Telfair St. Augusta, Georgiaon Friday March 8, 2013 at 12:15 pm. Interment of his cremains will take place at 3:00 pm SaturdayMarch, 9, 2013 at Hillcrest Memorial Park. A reception will follow at 4:00 pm at Sibley Hall, 406 Walker St. Augusta, Ga.
