Heather Corinne Cavender

Evans, GA. Heather Corinne Cavender, 27, of Evans, formerly of New Castle, Delaware, went home to be with the Lord on October 21, 2015 after several years of medical difficulties.She was born October 11, 1988 in Voorhees, New Jersey. Heather will always be fondly remembered for her loving attitude, vivacious personality, kindness to others even in adversity, and her love for animals, especially for her beloved dog, Roxy.Many thanks go out to the many Medical Professionals who have worked with Heather over the past few years.A special thanks to Dr. Glen Tinkoff and his nurse Phila Callahan in Delaware, as well as all of her family and friends who have been so full of love and support through the years. Heather was survived by her mother Kimberly Franklin, stepdad Joe Franklin and stepbrother Victor Franklin with whom she lived in Evans, Ga.Other family members include her brother Justin Lloyd, sister Devin Lloyd, grandmother Nermin Duncan, father John Scholato, and aunts Deniz Roark, Bobi Cavender and Pamela Duncan, all in northern Delaware/southeast PA area. A family and friends gathering will be Saturday (TODAY) 1 pm to 3 pm at Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Rd., Augusta, 30906. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made in Heather’s name to an animal shelter of your choice. Further arrangements will be at a later date in Delaware.
