Hazel Williamson

Ms. Hazel Marie Williamson, of Augusta, died on Saturday, July 10, 2010 at University Hospital.She was 82 years old. Family and friends gathered for a private memorial service. Survivors include her daughters, Diane Rhodes Kreisberg and her husband, Robert, of Atlanta, Cathy Rhodes Partain of Augusta, and Amy Rhodes Moss and her husband, Morris, of Evans; her grandchildren, Marcus Kreisberg, Rachel Kreisberg, Joshua Kreisberg, Emily Partain, Megan Moss, and Hampton Moss; her great-grandson, Ethen Kreisberg; her dear friend and best buddy, Rosemary Padgett. She was preceded in death by her daughters Crystal Elaine Rhodes and Cynthia Brown Rhodes. Hazel Williamson was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her smile would light up a room. She was an interior decorator and an artist. She was talented in all her endeavors. She enjoyed traveling. She also loved the beach and resided in Hilton Head, South Carolina for a number of years.She was a great fisherman and an excellent cook.She enjoyed playing cards with a group of her friends.
