Harriett Garrison

Mrs. Harriett Harris Garrison, 73, entered into rest on May 27, 2021 at Doctors Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Dr. Alton “Butch” Garrison for 36 years. She worked in the medical field for over 50 years, but will be remembered most for her hard work and dedication serving as Deputy Coroner for Columbia County over the last 15 years. Many described her as having the “heart of an angel”. She is survived by her children; Shannon Holloway (Tim), Farrah Buki (David), Amanda Garrison and Frank Garrison; seven grandchildren, Josh, Jake, Carson, Reagan, Bailey, Carley and William; her two beloved great -grandsons Tyler and Tucker. Harriett is preceded in death by one son, Robert Garrison. The family will receive friends for a celebration of life on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at West Acres Baptist Church between the hours of 10 am and 12 pm.
