Harold Ollice Smith

Harold O. Smith, 88, entered into rest Monday, October 22, 2018 surrounded by his family. Husband of Freda Bodkin Smith. He was born in IL and moved to Athens, Georgia before moving to Augusta, where he workedfor the Georgia Forestry Commissionuntil retiring in 1989. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Augusta, and an avid outdoorsman. Additional survivors include his four sons, Paul Smith (Pam), Dave Smith (Pat), Ronnie Smith (Janice), Bill Hardin (Donna), two daughters, Linda Johnson (Keith) and Theresa Eames (Ken), 20 Grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held on Saturday October 27, 2018 at 2: 00 pm at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Dr. Roger Murchison officiating.
