Guy Owen Cheek

Augusta, GA Guy Owen Cheek, Jr., age 57, of Hephzibah, passed away January 24, 2014. He was preceded in death by his father, Guy Owen Cheek, Sr. He was a mechanic for Milton Reuben Chevrolet. His is survived by his children, Steven Cheek of Greeley, CO., Jadi Cheek of Hephzibah and Donald Cheek of Hephzibah; his mother, Ella Rollinson Cheek; 1 grandson, Rylan Scholfeild; 1 brother, Phil (Jamie) Cheek of Martinez, GA. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday at 6 pm at THE POTEET FUNERAL HOME, 3465 Peach Orchard Rd., Augusta, 30906, 706.798.8886, with Pastor Bryan Matthews, officiating. Family will receive friends from 5 pm to 6 pm at the funeral home.
