Gregory Arnold Bolton, aged 69, of Augusta, GA, passed away peacefully on February 1st, 2021, surrounded by family. Greg was born on April 16th, 1951, to parents Lawrence and Margaret Bolton. He grew up in Almonte, Ontario and later moved to Sanford, ME where he graduated from Sanford High with the class of 1969. Greg married Dorothy "Dot" Bolton in the summer of 1973. Over the years, the two lived in New Hampshire, Colorado, California, Maryland and Pennsylvania and eventually back to Maine where they raised their family. Their ultimate goal was to move to Augusta, Ga in order to spend as much time spoiling their grandchildren as humanly possible. Greg was able to complete that goal in April, 2016, and spent his remaining years watching football and soccer games, taking his grandkids to steak and shake and chic fila, "borrowing" nice pens from restaurants, "getting a tan" from all the warm GA sun, and being the greatest father and grandfather a person could be. Greg will forever be known for his selfless love and devotion to his family and friends, his amazing personality, and his ability to make an entire room laugh. His kind, loving soul will be missed by all. Greg is predeceased by his mother, Margaret Bolton, Father, Lawrence Bolton, and wife, Dorothy Bolton. Greg is survived by his son Benjamin Bolton, his wife Kaylan and their two sons Gavin and Brennan of Chesapeake, VA; his daughter Emily Bolton and her Fiancé, Chris Czachor of Augusta, Ga; his sisters Carolyn and husband Tom Blaisdell, and Denise Barry and niece Kathryn Barry of Nashua, NH; and decades long imaginary girlfriend “Julie” whose location is still unknown.
