Gloria Faye Welch

Gloria Faye Welch, 63, entered into rest on October 2, 2018 at the Augusta University Medical Center. She was born in Nashville, GA on June 23, 1955. coming from Columbus, GA, she spent 22 years in Augusta, GA before returning to her birthplace in Nashville, GA. She was preceded in death by her parents Garshie Thornton and Irene Solomon Thornton.She is survived by her husband William Henry Welch; sons James Hall (Tara), Erik Welch; daughter Michelle Simpson (Eric); brother Marcus Taylor and grandchildren Madison Simpson, Katelynne Simpson, Dylan Hall and Dakota Hall. She was a member of the Church of Christ, had a love of photography throughout her life and loved her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.
