Glenda K. Wilson, 66, entered into rest on Wednesday, August 17, 2016. Glenda was born in Jacksonville, FL on January 25, 1950 to Glen Kilpatrick of Waynesboro, GA and the late Pauline Cox of Waycross, GA. She was raised in Burke County by James Franklin and Annie Mae Kilpatrick of Waynesboro, GA. Glenda, a loving mother and grandmother was a homemaker who lived in Burke County all her life. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church of Alexander, GA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Wilson; one grandchild Casey Wilson; two brothers Ronnie and Jerry Cox, both of Waycross, GA; and one sister Edna Cook of Waynesboro, GA. She is survived by her three children, Charlotte (Roger) Hillis; Tonya (David) Perkins; and James Russell (Christina) Wilson all of Burke County; eleven grandchildren, Ashley (Branden) Kinard; William (Jackie) Hillis; and Faith Hillis; Kassie, Autumn, and Duncan Perkins; Zachary, Daniel, Russell, Lucas, and Baby Wilson all of Burke County, and one great grandchild Jay; two sisters Cathy Capley and Jackie (Charles) Eskew, both of Waynesboro, GA. Mrs. Wilson had many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friend from 1:00-2:00 and the memorial Service begins at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at West Millen Baptist Church. Reverend Andy Allen will be officiating. The family suggests memorials be made to the Center for New Beginnings, 727 West 6th. Street, Waynesboro, GA 30830 in honor of her grandchildren.
