Gina Marie Capozzoli April 15, 1979 – April 15, 2009 Ms. Gina Marie Capozzoli entered into rest on her thirtieth birthday, Wednesday, April 15, 2009. The family will receive friends (Today) Friday, April 17, 2009 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at The Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta. The Rosary will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Friday in the funeral home chapel. A Funeral Mass will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2009 at the Good Shepherd Chapel at Fort Gordon. Committal services will follow in the Mausoleum atBellevue Memorial Gardens. Gina is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard and JoAnn Capozzoli, of Augusta; her grandmother, Mrs. Catherine Capozzoli, of New York; her sister, Lisa Billings and her husband, Brian, of Grovetown; her brother, Tony Capozzoli and his wife Cathy, of North Augusta; her niece and nephew, Brendan Stacy and Bella Nicole Capozzoli; her uncle, John P. Petito; her aunts, Catherine Petito Grubb and Marie Capozzoli; her cousins, Anthony and Joseph Petito; a host of close friends. Gina was an active member of The Good Shepherd Chapel at Ft. Gordon.Her involvement there included serving as Catholic Youth Minister, a youth choir member, and as an Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist.She has served as secretary of the Ft. Gordon Youth Bowling League.Gina was a physical therapy assistant at Doctors Hospital.
