Geraldine P. Owens

Augusta, GA – Mrs. Geraldine P. Owens, 87, wife of the late Mims F. Owens, entered into rest November 7, 2023. Graveside services will be held Monday, November 13, 2023 at 2:00 PM from Hillcrest Memorial Park, 2700 Deans Bridge Rd Augusta, GA 30906 with Pastor Jerry Owens officiating.Geraldine was born May 9, 1936 to late Cecil Roy Phillips and Odell Moore. She was born and raised in Macon, GA with 14 siblings. Survivors include; sons, Ray Owens (June), Tommy Owens (Julie); grandchildren, Ryan Brown (Lindsey), Jason Owens, Daniel Owens, Selena Flakes (Scott) with a host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she is also preceded in death by daughter, Bwana “Fay” Smith; grandson, Lee Smith; great grandson, Mason Smith. The family would like to thank the staff at Westwood Nursing Home for all of the compassion and care given to Geraldine.
