George Eugene Hazel

George E. Hazel of Gilbert, SC, passed away on Friday March 16, 2018. A memorial service will be held at his sisters at 312 Shady Branch Road, Leesville, SC., 29070 on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 2:00 pm. George was born in Newberry County on December 7, 1988. George loved to Mud Bog, ride 4 wheelers, run equipment work hard and play hard. He loved his family and friends very much, there was never a dull moment with him around, he was always loud, wild and crazy, always trying to make people laugh. He rarely met a stranger, and didn't care what he wore most of the time. He is survived by his wife, Kristy Hazel, step sons, Brandin Dukes, Kottn Dukes, and Wynstin Dukes; father, Kojak Padgett; mother, Lida Preston Padgett;brother, Patrick Padgett;sisters, LilliePadgett, Ashley Craps (Jesse);half sister, Melissa Lever,paternal grandparents, Margaret Padgett and the late Richard Carl Padgett,Sr., maternal grandparents, George Preston and the late Rachel Preston.
