Gene Watkins

Mr. Gene Watkins Drummer Augusta, Ga. entered into rest on June 6, 2011 at Trinity Hospital. Mr. Gene Watkins. Memorial services will be conducted on Friday at 11:00 am at Journey Community Church. Survivors include his biological mother Barbara Gibson, Sister Debra Bennett and Sue Gibson Blue and brother, David Gibson, step siblings. Gene was preceded in death and welcomed in heaven by his parents Morris and Elizabeth Watkins and his son Christopher Watkins. Gene will be remembered by friends as an amazing drummer and an iconic entertainer in the Augusta area.
