Ms. Gaynell Nicklin of Moncrieff Street in Augusta died on Saturday, January 17, 2009. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 22, 2009 from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. at The Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta.The memorial service will be conducted on Thursday, January 22, 2009 at 7:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.Ms. Nicklin was cremated and burial will be a private service at a later date. Mrs. Nicklin was a native of Erie, Pennsylvania.She had lived in Augusta since 1981 and was a homemaker. Mrs. Nicklin is survived by her daughters, Jean Marie Perkins of Strykersville, NY andMelissa Janet Bunch of Augusta; her son, Edward Allen Fetzner of Springfield, VA, grandchildren, Zack Fetzner of Springfield, VA, Kiera Perkins of Strykersville, NY, and Angel Bunch of Augusta, Ga.Mrs. Nicklin was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Towers Nicklin.
