Garey W. Vangorden

Biography Mr. Garey W. VanGorden Retired SFC US Army Grovetown, Ga. entered into rest October 31, 2013 at Trinity Hospital, Augusta, Ga. Mr. Garey W. VanGorden, 69, Husband of the late Mrs. Young Hwa Chang VanGorden. Graveside services will be conducted with full Military Honors on Monday at 11:00 am at Westover Memorial Park. Chaplain Michael Stephan officiating. Mr. VanGorden a native of Dover, NJ lived in Korea prior to moving to Augusta in 1984. He proudly served and Retired from the U.S. Army as a SFC where he served in Viet Nam Conflict. Survivors include three daughters, Tina M. Blache, Grovetown, Ga. Catherine Crawford, Christina VanGorden, Colorado Springs, CO. Two brothers, David VanGorden, Stillwater, NJ. Harold VanGorden, Clearwater, Fl. Three sisters, Aleta M. Singer, Austin, TX. Barbara Kays, Perkins, IN., Maryellen Baricevac, NY. Eight grandchildren
