Freda Bodkin Smith , 89 , entered into rest on Thursday, September 15 , 2022 surrounded by her family. Wife of the late Harold O. Smith of Augusta , GA. She was born in Elkins, W. Virginia , and was a long time resident of Augusta , GA. She retired from the U.S. Federal Government and was a member of First Baptist Church of Augusta. Freda was a talented artist and she loved to travel.Freda is survived by her three children , Linda H. Johnson (Keith), Paul William Hardin (Donna) and Theresa Hardin Eames (Ken) .Three step children , Paul Smith (Pam) , Dave Smith (Pat) , and Ronnie Smith (Janice) , also survived by 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren Freda will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Memorial Park .
