Fred D. Pierce

Evans, Ga., entered into rest at his residence May 7, 2014 with his family by his side. Mr. Fred D. Pierce husband of Mrs. Betty Frances Mobley Pierce. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 11:00 am at Beulah Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Sam Davis officiating. Interment will be at a later date. Mr. Pierce a native of Nash County, NC had lived in Augusta since 1999 and a member of Beulah Grove Baptist Church. He was an Air Force Veteran. Retired X-Ray Technician in New Jersey. Additional survivors include a sister, Hattie Pope, Richmond, VA and one niece Loretta Tappan, Charlotte, NC. The family will receive friends at the church 1 hour prior to services. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to Beulah Grove Baptist Church 1434 Popular St. Augusta, Ga. 30901 or to the American Cancer Society.
