Mr. Fred McElduff Jr. Augusta, Georgia Mr. Fred McElduff of Augusta died at Eisenhower Army Medical Center on January 10, 2009. He was 85 years old. The family will receive friends January 14, 2009 at The Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The graveside services will be conducted Thursday January 15, 2009 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens at 1:00 p.m. Friends are invited to gather at the graveside at 12:45 p.m. Full Military Honors will be rendered by Ft. Gordon Army Honor Guard. Mr. Fred McElduff is survived by his wife, Ngolan T. McElduff; daughters, Pat Corley and her fiance Johnny Amerson, Liz McElduff and her fiance John Huggins, Vu Hong; sons Vu Chi-Dung, Na U-Tuan; sisters, Eugenia Forbes of California, Dinah Murphree of Tennessee; grandchildren, Nathaniel Burroughs, Traci Burroughs, Heather Mutispaugh and Maria Beale. Mr. Fred McElduff was a life time member of the VFW Post 649 and a retired member of the Military Police Association. He was very proud to have served his country for over 25 in the U.S. Army. Mr. McElduff spent another 10 years as a security officer at University Hospital.
