Beech Island, SC Frankie Muns Fowke, age 89 entered in to rest Wednesday, August 8, 2012, at her residence with her family surrounding her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Lucy (Mooney) Muns; her husband, Gerard C. Fowke; 2 daughters, Natalie Fowke and Sadie Fowke Neal; 4 brothers, Johnny Muns, L.W. Muns, Furman Muns and Arthur Muns and 2 Sisters, Josey M. Nevils and Lillian M. Proctor. She is survived by 2 Sons, Gerard C. Fowke of Beech Island, SC and Johnny M. Fowke of Beech Island, SC (Wife Beverly); 2 daughters, Frankie C. Parrish of Beech Island, SC and Janice Cook of New Ellenton SC (Husband Frank); 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Special thanks to hospice nurse Sandra Imhofto. Pallbearers, Josh Futral, David Parish, Furman Muns, Casey Proctor, Fred Nevils, John Cook. Family will receive friends Tuesday 11 am to 12 Noon at The Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Rd. Augusta, GA, 30906, with services to follow at Noon at the funeral home. Burial will be in Beech Island at First Baptist Cemetery, Beech Island, S.C. The Poteet Funeral Home, entrusted with arrangements.
