Francis Ivey Walters

Mr. Francis (Ivey) Walters 74 of North Augusta, SC entered into rest on September 28,2022.

Ivey was a resident of North Augusta.  He was a very loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.  He enjoyed being with his family and friends.   He enjoyed the outdoors, traveling and listening to music.  Ivey was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin Walters of Augusta and Mae Goodson of North Augusta, SC. And his sister, Pearl Doyle of Keysville, GA.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years Dorothy Walters of North Augusta, his son’s and daughter, Stanley Walters (Amy), Faye Eubanks (Freddie) Troy Walters.  His brother, Roy Walters and his two sisters, Melvis Barfield and Eugenia Ashley. 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  He was a grounds keeper at the city locks for 8 years.  He was a painter.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 8, 12:00 PM at Flowing Wells Worship Center, 1233 Flowing Wells Rd, Augusta Ga with Pastor Tony Rhodes officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Flowing Wells Worship Center or a charity of your choice.
