Florence Watson

Florence Maydine Watson, aged 73, entered into rest August 28, 2024, in Augusta, GA. Born on May 25, 1951. She was married to her late husband Raymond Eugene Watson Jr. for 55 years. Florence dedicated three decades of her life to the East Central Regional Hospital before her retirement, and after her retirement she spent most of her time with family and loved ones. Florence was an exceptional individual whose influence touched many lives. Her legacy will endure through her family and all those she impacted. Her surviving loving family includes her daughter, Deborah Watson; son, Raymond Watson (Crystal); brother, John William Pope Sr. (Tammye); sisters, Ona Lee Pope and Patricia Yuvonne Batey (Allen). Florence was also a cherished grandmother to Ashley, Misty, Morgan, Melody, and Aria, and great-grandmother to five great-grandchildren. Florence was preceded in death by her late husband, Raymond Eugene Watson Jr.; her parents, Charles Blane Pope Sr. and Maydine Bradshaw Pope; her daughter, Angela England; her brother, Charles Blane Pope Jr.; and her sister, Reba Pope. Florence's memory and legacy will forever live on in our hearts.
