Felipe Lucero Estrera

Felipe Lucero Estrera (Tatay Ipe), 74, went home to be with his Lord and Savior July 4th, 2017. Felipe, a native of the Philippines, has lived in Grovetown, GA since 2005. He was a retired, self-employed upholsterer, and attended San Rafael Pacific Presbyterian Church in the Philippines and New Hope Worship Center, Grovetown, GA. “Tatay” will best be remembered for his selfless and unending love and commitment to his family. He enjoyed upholstery, gardening, raising his animals, fishing, and his grandchildren the most in life. He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Mercedes Estrera; his sons, Michael Estrera (Gloria); James Estrera (Lyka); and Felipe Estrera, Jr.; daughter, Marifel Estrera Bertrand (Thomas); sister, Pelagia Estrera Laurente; 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. A memorial service will be held at New Hope Worship Center, 714 S. Old Belair Rd, Grovetown, Ga. 30813, on Saturday, July 8th, at 4:00 pm with Pastor Rich Bowen officiating.
