Mrs. Felicia "Teet" Carmon Lemons died on Thursday, December 1, 2011.She was 75 years old. The visitation will be on Monday, December 5, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at The Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta.A visitation will also be held on Tuesday, December 6, from 11:00 until 1:00 p.m. at Providence Baptist Church in Sumter, South Carolina.The funeral will follow the visitation on Tuesday at the church at 1:00 p.m.Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Sumter, South Carolina. Mrs. Lemons is survived by her husband, James “Dickie” Lemons, of Hephzibah, Georgia; her children, Patsy (Melvin) Coulter, of Sumter, Wesley (Karen) Thames, of Topsham, Maine, Tommy (Tammy) Thames Jr., of Sumter, and Wanda (Terry) Rafuse, of Lamar, South Carolina; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; her niece, Polly Ransom, of Gray, Georgia; other relatives and friends. Mrs. Lemons was the daughter of the late Mills and Clara Floyd Carmon Sr.She was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.She attended Waynesboro Georgia Church of God and had been a member of Providence Baptist Church in Sumter.Mrs. Lemons retired from Fluor Daniels as a crane operator.She had travelled throughout the United States.She loved gardening, especially growing flowers.
