Eva Mae Zahner

Eva Mae Zahner, 81, of Waynesboro passed away Tuesday November 1, 2016 at University Hospital Augusta. Cryptside services will be held Thursday November 3, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the Mausoleum Chapel of Bellevue Memorial Gardens, Grovetown. Born in Poteau, Oklahoma, Mrs. Zahner married Lilburn Simon Zahner and had the opportunity to travel around due to his military career. She worked at many places during her career with the Army and Air Force Exchange Service. She was preceeded in death by her husband and one son, Rodney Zahner. Survivors include her daughters, Gayle (Paul) Browne, Waynesboro; Karon (David Lee) Bryant, Dearing; Debra Linn (Franz) Solleder, Hephzibah; Sandra Hulett, Hephzibah; Son, Clifford Zahner, Hephzibah; brother, Ray (Lou) Irvin, Jr., Seguin, TX. 15 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren also survive. The family will receive friends Wednesday November 2, 2016 from 5:00 – 7:00 at The Poteet Funeral Home.
