Eva Carol Taylor

Eva Carol Taylor, age 71, of Augusta and formerly of Washington, Georgia entered into rest Friday, June 9, 2017. Carol was born December 25, 1945 to the late Robert Lewis Taylor and Eva Forrest Taylor. Carol retired from Fort Gordon where she worked in the Accounting Department, and prior to that was employed by Uniroyal in Thomson. Carol was a graduate of Washington-Wilkes High School. Carol had also been a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. Survivors include first cousins Jean Newsome Casey (James) and family of Cedartown, Georgia., G.B. Newsome, Jr. and family, Washington, Georgia., Ramona Newsome King (Jerry) of Fletcher, North Carolina, and the family of the later Jack Newsome (Marilyn) of Washington as well as a host of extended family. Members. Memorial service will be held at Ebenezer Baptist Church of Aonia, Washington, on Wednesday, July 5th., at 2:00 pm. With Reverend Lou Riker and Reverend Jim Newsome officiating. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to service and following the service.
