Ms. Eva (Christy) Hutto Ms. Eva (Christy) Hutto of Blythe, Georgia went to be with her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, June 30, 2010. Ms. Hutto was born in Augusta, Georgia on December 24, 1956 to Gary Wayne Melton Sr. and the late Marilyn Sue Fortney of Blythe, Georgia. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 2, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at The Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta.The funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, July 3, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Poteet Funeral Home chapel.The committal service will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Bro. Mike Andrews will officiate. Surviving is a daughter, Monica Nicole Hutto; a son, Sonny Wall; and second daughter, Brandi Wall; a brother, Gary (Chip) Melton Jr. and his wife Karen Melton of Blythe, Georgia; a sister, Marilyn Susan (Lynn) Bailey and her husband Baxter Bailey of Augusta; four granddaughters, Farrah Sky Pastecki, Kyra Arianna Durden, Monigue Janae’ Reid and Eva Monae’ Hutto, all of Augusta; two grandsons, Damien Marcus Layne Wall and Devon Shade Wall of Blythe, Georgia; and her father, Gary Wayne Melton Sr. of Blythe, Georgia.She was preceded in death by her mother, Sue Melton and her nephew, Gary Jason Melton. Pallbearers will be Paul Bailey, nephew; Kyle Melton, nephew; Steven James, Ms. Hutto’s second son; Charlie Coffee, family friend; Allen Dodgen, Ms. Hutto’s other second son; and Ike Issac, very close to our family.Honorary pallbearers will be the following special family and friends, Chris Anton and Justin Anton, cousins; Robert Newsome, another second son; Jordan Leopard, Jason Guy, Ronnie Chalker, and Mike Brasswell.
