Eugene E. Caraway

Eugene E. Caraway, 82, entered into rest September 18, 2022, at his residence, husband of the late Margaret Rachel Caraway. Eugene a native of Kite, Georgia lived most of his life in Augusta area, he was Union Crane operator and a member McBean Baptist Church where he was a Deacon and a faithful caretaker for the church, he loved fishing, yard work and helping others. Survivors include his daughters, Lynn Crews (Thomas); Rhonda Sellers (Gary); Gina Hanley (David); stepdaughters, Paula Williams and Annette Little (Jay); sister, Rachel Widener (Howard); Loving Care Giver Gloria Ellison; seven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren; he is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Ann Gordy. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at 11:00 am at McBean Baptist Church with Reverend Chad Crews and Reverend Clay Crews officiating. Entombment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Thomas Crews, Gary Sellers, David Hanley, Joe Crozier, Ricky Lanier, and Jeremy Tinley.
