Ethel E. Gilpin

Ethel Emmanuel Gilpin 83, beloved wife of the late Robert H. Gilpin, entered into rest on Saturday June 3, 2017 at University Hospital. A service of remembrance will be held 12Noon Thursday June 8, 2017 at Poteet Funeral Home -Chapel ,3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta with Pastor Timothy Hoover. She was an Elder with Faith Ministries of Augusta. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law James M. (Connie) Gilpin and Mark (Lana Hoover) Gilpin; sister Roddey Gunter; grandchildren Shawn (Cathy) Gilpin, Crystal (Beau) May, Brandon Gilpin, Jordan (Carla) Gilpin and Cameron Gilpin; several great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
