Erik Jensen

Erik Jensen, Jr. 65 beloved husband of Pamela White Jensen, entered into rest on Sunday November 26, 2017 at his residence. A memorial service will be held 2PM Monday December 4, 2017 at Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta with Pastor Bernard Martin officiating. Military honors will be accorded by the Ceremonial Detachment of Fort Gordon. Mr. Jensen was retired from U.S. Army as a Staff Sergeant with service during the Vietnam Conflict. He was a member of American Legion Post 178, the Legion Riders and was a Georgia Ride Captain for the Patriot Guard Riders. Survivors include his wife; son Erik Jensen III; mother Lucille Jensen; brothers and sisters-in-law Dennis (Ingrid) Jensen and Karl (Tracy) Jensen; sisters and brothers-in-law Priscilla (Victor) Aquilar , Jacqueline (Destry) Blancett and Barbara (Ted) Holcombe; grandson Damien J. Angel Pounders; and a great-granddaughter Gracie Pounders . He was preceded in death by his father Erik Jensen, Sr. and a niece Michelle Blancett. The family will receive friends immediately following the service on Monday.
