Augusta, GA. Emily Marie Reeves, age 86, of Augusta, passed away Sunday, July 20, 2014, at her home with her loving family surrounding her. She was born September 16, 1927 in McBean, GA.She was a Sales Clerk for Duncan Drugs with over 49 years of service. She is survived by her children: Glenda Ann Rhodes of Augusta and Lewis Wayne Reeves of Anderson, S. C.; 2 sisters, Thelma James of Augusta and Dean Shaw of Rockhill, GA.; 2 brothers, Roy Hair of Harlem and Andy Hair of Wrens.Also survived by 5 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Tuesday 6 pm to 8 pm at THE POTEET FUNERAL HOME, 3465 Peach Orchard Rd, HWY 25, Augusta, 30906, 706.798.8886. Funeral Services will be Wednesday 12 Noon at the funeral home with Rev. Tom Kalliokoski, officiating.Pallbearers will be Barrett Calhoun, Wayne Reeves, Lewis Rhodes, Mike Nelson, Jeff Mobley and Zachary Calhoun. Burial to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
