Elsie Louise C. Rogers

Louise C. Rogers, 90, of Hephzibah entered into rest on Friday April 6, 2018. Funeral services will be held Graveside at Hephzibah-Vance Cemetery at 2:00 pm on Monday April 9, 2018. Born in Glascock County to Hubert and Addie Cooper, she was the last of 9 children. She married Johnnie E. Rogers and lived most of her live in Hephzibah. She was noted for her love of dogs and birds. She is preceded in death by her husband; her sisters, Josie Wilkerson, Eula Luke, Essie Pearson, Bessie Dye, and Dolly Weathers; her brothers, Willie Joe Cooper, Linton Cooper, and Albert Lamar Cooper. She is survived by nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Sunday April 8, 2018 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at The Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta.
