Life Legacy Mrs. Elizabeth Weaver Augusta, Ga. Mrs. Elizabeth Reed Reeves Weaver, 79, entered into rest September 18, 2013 at a Hospice Care Home in Evans, Ga. After a battle with cancer. A native of Bowling Green, KY, she was the daughter of the Late H.H. Reeves and Elizabeth Short Reeves, and stepmother Frances Reeves. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Jim and Ada Short and paternal grandparents William and Mary Ellen Newman Reeves. Survivors include two children, Tony Weaver and wife Carol of Charlotte, North Carolina; Jill Weaver Greer and husband Walter of Lakeland, Florida; her companion of 14 years Ralph Kimble of Augusta, Georgia; two grandchildren, Nick Weaver and Jennifer Weaver of Charlotte, North Carolina; a half-sister Ann Hughes of Scottsville, KY; close friends Lucy Ann Jackson Bradford and her husband Doug of Bowling Green, and Mary Pedigo of Fountain Run, KY. Elizabeth graduated in 1951 from Bowling Green High School where she served as a majorette. While in Bowling Green, she attended Twelfth Street Church of Christ and Lehman Avenue Church of Christ. While living in Augusta, Elizabeth worked as a tour guide during Masters Week. She enjoyed showing off Augusta and never meet a stranger. She volunteered at the VA Hospital by playing the piano. Memorial services will be conducted Saturday September 28, 2013 at 11:00 am at Fairview Cemetery #1 Bowling Green, Kentucky.
