Elizabeth Funderburg Reese

Mrs. Elizabeth Funderburg Reese, of Waynesboro, died on Thursday, October 28, 2010 at her residence.She was 67 years old. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 31, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at The Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta.The funeral service will be conducted on Monday, November 1, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.Committal services will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Mrs. Reese is survived by her daughters, Teresa Knight, and her husband, Wayne, Lynette Dillon and her husband, Dean, Dianne Perry, and her husband, Paul; her son, Sir Walter Reese; her sisters, Mildred Shipley, Helen Yarbrough, and her husband, Tommy; her brother, L.D. Funderburg Jr.,and his wife Betty; her sisters-in-law, Lois Reese and Maria Stanford; her mother-in-law, Billie Borgen; her brother-in-law, Wiley Yarbrough; her grandchildren, Troy Knight, Brandon Knight, Travis Knight, Michael Bugg, Hannah Dillon, Cory Perry, and Kyle Perry; her great grandchildren, Paige Perry, Branden Perry; and her longtime friend, Wayne Masters, and his family, LoriAnn, Sybil, and Karen. Mrs. Reese was preceded in death by her husband, James Luther Reese in 1993; her sisters, Jerry Yarbrough, Lois Irby, and Emily Kirkland. Mrs. Reese was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church.She had been a receptionist for the pediatrician, Dr. Tracy Middlebrook.She was a very loving, caring, and giving person.
