Elizabeth Woods Mckerley

Elizabeth Woods McKerley, entered into rest on Tuesday October 16, 2018 at University Hospital. Funeral services will be held 12 Noon Saturday October 20, 2018 at Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta with Pastor Wesley Weatherford officiating. Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park. Elizabeth was a member of St. Johns United Methodist Church, she loved living at St. Johns Towers and spending time with her family. She was dedicated member of the New Beginnings Group, and a friend of Bill W for 34 years. Survivors include brothers and a sister-in-law Willie F. Woods and James F. (Elaine) Schlein, Sr.; step-son Rick (Argie) McKerley; nieces and nephews Tara Woods Harris, Joy Schlein Kiesling, Jamey Schlein, Tamara Woods, Jerry Schlein, Traci Woods Higgins and Melinda Schlein Martin; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews; step grandson Kevin McKerley. Preceded in death by her parents Charlie J. Woods and Willie Woods Schlein; sister-in-law Frances P. Woods and numerous half siblings . The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM Saturday morning until service time.
