Mrs. Elaine Boynton Rogers Homemaker Mrs. Elaine Rogers, loving wife of Billy Rogers, of McBean went to be withher Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 17,2011.She was 49 years old. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm at The Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta.The funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at 11:00 am at Calvary Temple Assembly of God, 3343 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta, the body will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Committal will be at Piney Grove Baptist Church, 5060 Mike Padgett Highway, Augusta.Reverend Freddie Burman will officiate. Pallbearers are Elliot Oritz, Bobby Williams, Joe Delrie, Thomas Palmer, Andrew Proffitt and Miquel Canales. Elaine is survived by her loving husband Billy Rogers; sons Clint Rogers of McBean and Wayne Rogers of North Augusta, SC; daughter Crystal Rogers of McBean;brother Wallace Boynton of Waynesboro; Sisters Kathie Delrie of Martinez and Amy Edmonds of McBean; grandchildren Sky Rogers, Sarah Rogers, Hannah Rogers, Andrew and Hollyann Proffitt; and her Father-in-Law Bill Rogers.Elaine is preceded by in death her parents James and Harriette Boynton.
