Eileen Hamlin Hilderbrandt

Mrs. Eileen H. Hilderbrandt, of Waynesboro, died on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at University Hospital.She was 66 years old. The family will receive friends tomorrow, Saturday, August 6, 2011 from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. at The Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta.The memorial service will follow the visitation on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.Rev. Charlie K. DeLoach will officiate. Eileen is survived by her mother and step-father, Emily and John C. Hyatt; her children, David S. McCarty Jr. and his wife, Kim, Tony McCarty and his wife, Eva, Ernie McCarty, Amy Duggan and her husband, Lynwood, Jimbo Hilderbrandt and his wife, Jennifer, and Karen Delaigle, and her husband, Randy; her grandchildren, Josh, Trevor, Eric, Cody, Clay, Tabitha, Holly, Lee, Tyler, Megan, Briar, Thorn, Jessica, Corey, Ali, Jacob, and Lindsey; her great-granddaughter, Saryn; her brother and sister-in-law, Phillip and Susan Hamlin; her sister-in-law, Becky Hamlin.She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Hilderbrandt Sr., her father, Ernest Hamlin, and by her brother, Ernest “Buddy” Hamlin. Eileen was a member of Bayvale Baptist Church.She was a creative lady who enjoyed writing poems and songs.
