Edwina Wendy Funsch

Edwina “Wendy” Elton Funsch wife of Matthew “Tex” Funsch, entered into rest on January 28,2017. A Celebration of her life will be held 1PM Saturday, February 11,2017 at Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at V.F.W. Post # 649 ,2430 Windsor Springs Road, Augusta.She was born in Sandersville, Ga on October 20,1954. A member of the V.F.W. Post # 649 Ladies Auxiliary and American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, member of Angel Wings volunteer group. She is survived by her husband; mother Christine Elton, West Columbia, SC; sister Cathy (Don)Morrell, Douglasville, GA; brother Bill Elton; sister Sue Elton; sister Penny (Don) Snyder all of West Columbia, SC; niece Erica (Drew) Martin, Raleigh NC; grandnephew Conner Martin and her extended Funsch Family.
