Edith Stone

Biography Mrs. Edith Stone Retired Nurse North Augusta, SC entered into rest August 23, 2011 at Columbus Hospice House, Columbus, Ga. Mrs. Edith Stone, 82. Daughter of the late Thomas Louie and Lillian Hadden Johnson. Edith Johnson Stone was a member of Johnsons United Methodist Church in Warrenton; she graduated from Barrett School of Nursing as Registered Nurse in Augusta, Ga. and worked as a Registered Nurse, caring for many, until she retired from the VA Hospital in Augusta in 1993 She is survived by 5 children, several grand and great grandchildren, a sister, brother, sister-in-laws, brother -in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. Graveside services will be conducted Friday at 10:00 am at Westover Memorial Park, Rev. Ole Christianson officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home This evening from 6:00-8:00 pm
