Edith Louise Killebrew Latimer entered into rest on Saturday, October 6, 2012, at Doctors Hospital in Augusta, GA.She was 92. She was born January 30, 1920 to Edgar Turner Killebrew, Sr. and Anne Wood Killebrew in Henry County, Alabama. She was a retired school teacher having taught in Alabama, Atlanta and Augusta.“Granny”, as she was known to all, loved to teach and visit with young children. She was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Augusta. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Jackson Latimer, Jr. and her brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Mishie Killebrew.She is survived by a brother, Edgar Turner (Gussye) Killebrew, Jr., a sister-in-law, Nelle Latimer Lloyd; a daughter, Anne Latimer Handley; a son, Jonathan (Lynn) Latimer.Grandchildren include; Leanne (Greg) Massey, Lauren (Ray) Stull, Leslie (Dr. Thomas) Byars, Dr. Andrew Latimer and Benjamin Latimer; great grandchildren; Samuel Massey, Eliza Stull, Jackson Byars, Anne Clark Byars and Lanier Byars.She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Private family services will be held in Ft.
