Earline B. Elliott

Earline B. Elliott, age 89, passed away Thursday night, March 13, 2014, at her residence with her family surrounding her. She was born May 8, 1924 in Augusta, GA., to the late George and Nancy Wells Baker.She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Elliott. Ms. Elliott worked at Gracewood State School and Hospital for over 20 years. She was a member of the Hephzibah Baptist Church and the T.E.L. Sunday School Class.She was also a School Patrol for Hephzibah School. She is survived by her children; Lynda (Ronnie) Waid of Rome, GA., Ann (Ray) Brueland of Westminster, S.C., George (Donna) Elliott of Doerun, GA., Sue Elliott of Orlando, FL., and Cecil “Sonny” (Pam) Elliott of Hephzibah, GA.; 1 sister, Juanita Wolpert of Cantonment, FL., and 1 brother, Charles Baker of Nottingham, N.H.She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Sunday 2 pm to 4 pm at THE POTEET FUNERAL HOME, 3465 Peach Orchard Rd., HWY 25, Augusta, 30906, 706.798.8886. Graveside services will be Monday at 1 pm at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Pastor Danny McGill, officiating.Grandsons will be serving as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Hospice or the T.E. L. Sunday School Class at church.
