Dwight Edward Hilbert

Mr. Dwight Edward Hilbert Augusta, GA. Mr. Dwight Edward Hilbert, 65, husband of Mrs. Connie Hilbert, entered into rest on Thursday, June 16th, 2016. Mr. Hilbert was a native of Independence, MO, and also lived for several years in McAlester, OK, before moving to Augusta. He was a retired Master Sergeant with the United States Air Force. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, David Scott and John Gregory Hilbert, both of Tampa, FL; step-father, Gene J. Kormylo, of Cape Coral, FL; brothers, Dale and Steve Hilbert; and grandchildren, Cameron, Kyle, Connor, and Brooke. He is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Wallace Clayton Hilbert and Mrs. Trudy Amanda Kormylo. A memorial service with military honors will be held at New Life Church (250 Bobby Jones Expressway, Martinez, GA 30907) on Saturday, June 25th at 2:00 p.m., with Reverend Bryan Matthews officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation (pulmonaryfibrosis.org).
