Mrs. Dulcie “Terrie” Morehead Mrs. Dulcie “Terrie” Morehead of Tallahassee, Florida died October 11, 2009. She was 88 years old. The family will receive friends Saturday, October 17, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at The Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta, 706.798.8886. The funeral service will be conducted Saturday, October 17, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at The Poteet Funeral Home in the chapel. Rev. John Beck will officiate. The committal service will follow at the family plot at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Mrs. Dulcie “Terrie” Morehead was born April 26, 1921 to Mr. Alfred Cubbon and Mrs. Matilda Reddall. Mrs. Morehead was in the Royal Air Force of England and was stationed in Germany where she met her husband Charles Edward Morehead. Mrs. Morehead enjoyed spending her time volunteering at numerous places and spent over 35 years volunteering for the American Red Cross. Mrs. Dulcie “Terrie” Morehead is survived by her daughters Teresa Willoughby and her husband, Jerry, of Tallahassee, Florida; Trudy Faria and her husband Ray of Bellevue, Washington; Lynne Rodgers and her husband, John, of Cedar Hill, Texas; Chris Turpin and her husband, John, of Garner, North Carolina; and Sandy Dell and her husband Tom, of Nashville, Tennessee; eleven grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Mrs. Dulcie “Terrie” Morehead is preceded in death by her beloved husband Charles Edward Morehead, and her parents.
