Douglas Glenn Ward, age 60, entered into rest June 27, 2022 Douglas is survived by his parents Bill and Mary Ward, and numerous brothers, sisters, niece's and nephews , surprisingly he remembered all their names! He was affectionately known to all the kids that had the pleasure ( or maybe not ) as Uncle Doug. Not Mr. Ward, or Mr. Doug, but as uncle. He would give the shirt off his back to them all while complaining " don't they have a home to go to?" But his spirit animal came in the firm of his nephew Bryan, the bond between them was unbreakable, sort of like Timon and Pumbaa from the lion king, both were hardheaded, both their love showed over and over. Doug loved his family more than anything, well that's not exactly true! He loved the band Rush more than anything and said music wasn't worth listening to when the band ended. He loved the Navy in which he served, world of warcraft, old war movies, star trek and books about Elves, dragons, and mythical creatures. His biggest pet peeve was "why are there onions in my food?" He was a good good man, a kind man, and now he can finally be reunited with his hound from hell dog Duchess. She's been up there waiting patiently. Mostly you are loved Snuggie AKA Snoop Doug, more than words can say! Rest easy big guy! Love your family
