Doug Hebbard

Mr. Doug Hebbard, of Hephzibah, died on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 as a result of liver cancer. He was 41 years old. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 16, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at The Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta.The graveside service will be conducted on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Mr. Hebbard is survived by his father, Howard Hebbard and his wife Mary of Hephzibah, his mother, Gail Dixon of Graniteville, SC; his brother, Jimmy Hebbard of Hephzibah; nephews, Aaron and James Hebbard of Hephzibah.Mr. Hebbard was preceded in death by his grandmother, Jewel Hebbard. Mr. Hebbard was a millwright for Austin Industrial and later owned and operated a dump truck business.He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working, and cleaning.
