Donna Kay Licklider

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donna Kay Licklider, who departed this life on March 30, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on January 13, 1943, in Martinsburg, West Virginia, Donna was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister.

Donna resided in Grovetown, Georgia, and lived most of her life in Augusta, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Louis Wesley Licklider, with whom she shared 62 years of marriage, as well as her parents, Zedora Trunella Frye and James Matthew Frye. Donna is survived by her brother, Gary Frye, who is also from Martinsburg, West Virginia.

Donna leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion through her three sons, Kevin (Kathy) Licklider, Brian (Angela) Licklider, and Michael (Jennifer) Licklider. She was a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren: Justin Licklider, Ryan Licklider, Lauren Timmons, Allison Wunderwald, Sarah Burgess, Brendan Walsh, and Zane Licklider. She also delighted in her role as great-grandmother to CJ Timmons, Cash Timmons, Caroline Timmons, and Vaughn Wunderwald.

A dedicated homemaker, Donna's life revolved around her family and the values she instilled in them. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering support enriched the lives of all who knew her.

Donna's memory will forever remain in the hearts of her loved ones. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all whose lives she touched. Her spirit lives on in the family and legacy she nurtured so lovingly.
