Donald Keith Sikes

Donald Keith Sikes 60, beloved husband of Marla Gail Sikes entered into rest on Sunday September 23, 2018 surrounded by his family and friends after a courageous battle with cancer. A celebration of his life will be held 1PM Thursday September 27, 2018 at Poteet Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Greg Hatfield officiating. Interment will follow in West View Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers Ronnie Bass, Michael Yates, Jim Milhous, Keith Smith, Michael Lloyd, Clark Fredericks, Chris Murray and Clay Morgan. Survivors include his wife; step-daughter Amanda Cooksey; step-granddaughters Chelsey and Alissa Murrell; sister Pat Alexander; brothers-in-law Barry Cooksey and Tommy Cooksey; a host of nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his beloved pet, Murphy. He was preceded in death by his parents Odell “Red” and Dorothy Sikes. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Wednesday evening at Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta.
