Donald Edgar Piper

Biography Mr. Donald Edgar Piper Retired U.S. Army Grovetown, Ga. entered into rest October 3, 2011 at Georgia Health Sciences University. Mr. Donald Edgar Piper husband of Mrs. Louise Miller Piper. Mr. Piper a native of Davenport, Iowa. He proudly served his county in the U.S. Army where he was a retired CWO, also retired from the Southern Company. Other than loving the military he loved his family very much. Additional survivors include, two sons, Donald "Sid" Piper, Jr (Michelle), Augusta, GA, DeWayne Piper (Lynne), Boca Raton, FL, five daughters, Joan Piper, Lucy Jackson, Anna Jackson, Shannon Broxton (Stacy) all of Augusta. Lorna Piper, Utah. Brother, Nyal B. Piper (Renee), PA. Six grandchildren, Robert Quattlebaum, III, Matthew Quattlebaum, Kristopher Quattlebaum, Ryan Piper, Caitlin Maxwell (Keith), Haley Lamb (Tony). Three great grandchildren, Kaylee Morris, Alea Quattlebaum, Evan Taylor.Preceding him in death was his parents, Dr. Stewart T. & Gladys A. Piper and a son Dale Piper A private service will be held with full military honors.
