Donald Ray Biggs

Donald Ray Biggs resident of Augusta ,GA . , passed away at his home on February 9 of complications of Cancer . Don was born on January 2 ,1947 in Rocky Point, N.C. to the late (Father) Thomas Earl Biggs (Mother) Mary Ellen King Biggs) , Don attended high school at Socastee High School in the year 1965 , he went to US Army to serve in Vietnam (Dong Ha) in 1966. After coming home from Vietnam he became a professional truck driver kickstarting over 30 year in the in the industry, where he was most happiest looking out a windshield and doing what he loved to do. In October 1998 he retired from trucking and spent his day’s fishing ; he also liked going to car races mainly dirt track races and of course he liked hanging out with family. Don never met a stranger he wouldn't talk to, as if he knew them all his life. Don was proceeded in death by (Father) Thomas Earl Biggs and (Mother) Mary Ellen King Biggs , ( Sister) Betty Phillips . Don was survived by his wife Mary Robert’s Biggs and his two sons Donald Ray Biggs JR and Thomas Lee Biggs and there companions Martha Wightman and Angela Leigh Mitchell . Don also had two grandchildren Thomas Lee Biggs JR and Coleman Jeffery Biggs also two step grands Erica and Lauren Long. Services will be announced at a later date by family.
