Denver Alex Brown, beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle entered into eternal rest on Sunday May 21, 2017. A celebration of his life will be held 2 PM Thursday May 25, 2017 at Poteet Funeral Home Chapel ,3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta with Rev. Jim Hyder officiating. Mr. Brown was retired from International Paper with over 40 years of service. Survivors include his wife Vera Malinda Palmer Brown; daughter and son-in-law Bridgette Brown (Paul) David; granddaughter Emme David ;brothers and sisters-in-law Pam (Ken)Higginbotham, Marvin (Alma) Palmer, Rev. Bruce (Joyce) Palmer, Rev. Wade (Ann) Palmer, Cornell “Bull” Palmer;special nieces, nephews and many work friends and associates.The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
